During her tenure at Thomas Dale, Walker led the team to an impressive 45-6 record, a perfect conference record, and the 6A regional title and 6A state finals appearance. In her second season with the Knights, Walker led the team to signature wins over Vanderbilt-bound Mikayla Blake and nationally ranked New Jersey Prep. Her team also dismantled Camden HS, of SC, breaking a 30-game win streak that boasted National Player of the year and Gamecocks recruit Joyce Edwards. During this time, Coach P, as she is affectionately known, earned Regional, County, and Conference Coach of the Year.

Before her time at Thomas Dale, Coach Walker led Richmond Christian, Chesterfield, Va., to a State #1 ranking in VISAA as well as the State Championship title, while garnering back-to-back Conference and State Coach of the Year in their 2018-19 and 2019-20 campaigns.

Success follows Walker wherever she goes. With stops at powerhouse Christian Academy of Knoxville, back-to-back State tournament semis, before that, Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, VA, VISAA Division 1 state semi-finals. Walker has compiled an impressive 493-97 record as a coach, while coaching several D1 prospects. A record not only in number but impact.

Walker's playing career started at Bethel High School, Hampton, VA, coached by the legendary coach, Jessie Pope, who was an early advocate for Title IX equity in sports for girls, summer league, and partnered with Boo Williams to begin AAU, with Walker being one of his first players. Collegiately, Walker is known for competing as a prolific rebounder, finisher, and athlete. Coach Walker will be inducted into the 2025 class of the Ole Virginia Legends Hall of Fame this September.
